1) Queen's University (QU) will accept up to five (5) students from SFS each year who have been offered full-time admission to the Master of Education Degree (MEd) Program in the Faculty of Education at QU. SFS students will be exempt from paying tuition and non-discretionary fees to QU; however, they will pay whatever fees that are required of them by SCNU in order to participate in the Dual Master's Degree Program. SFS students will be responsible for all their costs associated with books, travel, transportation, accommodation and living expenses while at QU.

2)  If, in a given year, QU does not have five (5) students attending SFS, Queen's will nevertheless accept up to five (5) qualified SFS students into the Dual MED Program in its Faculty of Education, provided that each SFS student in excess of the number of QU students attending SFS pursuant to the Agreement agrees to pay the applicable international student tuition and other fees directly to QU.

3) SFS will be responsible for identifying which nominated students participating in the Dual MED program will not be assessed any fees by QU and which nominated students will be responsible for paying international tuition and other mandatory fees to QU. SCNU will notify QU of the selected students and their fees assessment status prior to the application.

4) SFS students who agree to participate in the Dual Master's Degree Program outside of the student exchange arrangement, will pay the international tuition fee equivalent of one academic year of graduate studies at QU. The exact tuition fee will be assessed once the students are accepted into the Program. The students will also be required to pay the non-discretionary fees to QU.

5) SFS students will first attend one year of the MEd programme at SFS and then one year of the MEd programme at QU. For the third year, SFS students can choose to complete their studies either at SCNU or QU. Students who successfully complete all degree requirements of the MEd of SCNU and QU will receive two degrees, one from each university.

6) SFS students will be nominated on the basis of their academic merit, past work and extracurricular experiences. They must meet the admission requirements of QU MEd programme, including English language proficiency requirements, namely a minimum score of IELTS 7.0 (or equivalent), with each item no less than 6.5.

7) To apply to the MEd programme at QU, SFS students must complete the online application to the programme and submit supporting documents. For details, please visit http://edu.queensu.ca/apply. The student's application file to the MEd program at QU must be completed on or before 15 January.
